Accu-Reggie—November 25

Last week we discussed the cold air coming and boy did it deliver! Temperatures struggled to get out of the 30s on Monday! This week is odd. It doesn’t want to be cold, but it also doesn’t want to be warm. We just kind of waffle around in the middle this week. Temperatures will warm to the 60s for Thursday and Friday, but then retreat back into the 50s and 40s for the rest of the week. I do not see extreme cold coming.

Our best rain chance is with a storm coming in sometime between Sunday night and Wednesday. We are looking at a couple days of rain and drizzle to start next week.

Wednesday is the best day for sunshine this week. It will be clear and comfortable for travel along the East Coast.

Thanksgiving Day Forecast: I am almost certain we will see some turkey during the day and watch out for a side of pumpkin pie in the afternoon. Otherwise, expect plenty of stuffing, vegetables and mashed potatoes scattered throughout the day. None of these conditions should hamper your outdoor plans, but I would prepare for the appeal of the nearest couch. By the way, temperatures will rebound to 60 in Philly with some sunshine. Can you say P-E-R-F-E-C-T?!?!?

(Black) Friday is the warmest day of the week. Any outdoor (shopping) activities are a go!

Saturday and Sunday will bring us back into temperature realty. Both days will be cooler with temperatures around 50.

I am watching a storm for Monday and Tuesday, though there is some uncertainty on the exact timing of this storm. It could arrive as early as the overnight hours on Sunday or as late as Wednesday. Either way, prepare for some rain to start next week.

The weather winner of the week is Friday; the weather loser is Tuesday.
