Cycling Movies, Talk and Pizza at Firth & Wilson


Philadelphia, as well as cities all across America, are beginning to rethink the way they look at transportation. Bicycles are starting to be recognized as an efficient, sustainable and affordable mode of transportation.

On Saturday, September 12, there will be a screening of several short films about cycling at Firth & Wilson (1105 Frankford Ave.). The films were commissioned to promote biking in Arlington, Virginia and present unique stories about how bikes play into the lives of diverse people and families.

The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, Indego Bike Share, and 5th Square PAC will also be in attendance discussing their accomplishments and what they want to achieve in the future.

Pizza and drinks will be available at the event. There is a a $5 entry fee that will help cover expenses.
