Man Hospitalized After Explosion and Fire Causes Kensington Home Collapse


The cause of an explosion and fire Wednesday morning, which partially collapsed a home on the 300 block of East Tusculum Street, is under investigation.

According to NBC10, a neighbor and witness to the blaze heard an explosion that rocked her home, and ran outside to see the facade of the burning house collapse.

The only injury was sustained by a male in his 30’s, who, according to the witness, was the lone resident of the house. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The fire was placed under control just after 6 a.m.
