More than 30 Riverward residents made the trek to Liberty Lands (926 N American St.) on Saturday, January 23rd to participate in the 2nd Annual Riverwards Snow War, a family-friendly snowball fight sponsored by Spirit News.

Led by Max Pulcini, Spirit News’ editor and triumphant leader, combatants young and old took part in dodgeball, cops and robbers and capture the flag as the snow fell on a large segment of the mid-Atlantic states.

Following the Snow War, participants took to The Abbaye for a few celebratory drinks and to escape the cold one last time before venturing back home.
