PPD, SWAT and Narcotics Units Target Heroin Distribution in Kensington

There was heavy police activity in Kensington on Thursday afternoon following a series of narcotics busts in the area.
Officers of the 26th District, as well as narcotics units and SWAT, gathered at American and Cumberland Streets, with officers taking a number of people away in handcuffs. These arrests were made in an effort by police to target heroin and it’s distribution on the street.
