After over half a decade at the Piazza, PYT has closed and made plans to move to a new location. Their new site is right across the street from the newly-opened Fillmore on Delaware Avenue and is about one and a half times the size of their former Piazza location. They will also be opening another location in New York City.

Owner Tommy Up said that he came to the Piazza because of developer Bart Blatstein, but has lost interest since Blatstein sold the majority of his interest in the Piazza.

The closing of PYT also means a sudden end for Emmanuelle. Originally slated to close on November 30, the bar’s third anniversary, the bar closed along with PYT. They will have their remaining closing celebration events at The Yachtsman in Fishtown.

Rumor has it that Wahlburgers is coming to the Piazza to satiate your burger cravings.
