Buses to Depart from Kensington to Harrisburg Tomorrow, PA Physician General Speaking on HIV/AIDS


Pennsylvania Physician General Dr. Rachel Levine will discuss the plan by state government to end HIV/AIDs tomorrow at 3:30 PM in Harrisburg. Buses to the event will leave from Prevention Point’s office, located at 2913 Kensington Avenue, by 12:15 PM. Contact Jose DeMarco of ACT UP Philly at (215) 833 2469 before then to reserve a seat.

Prevention Point began in 1991 as a syringe exchange organization. They’ve since expanded to provide a variety of services to people diagnosed with HIV/AIDs, Hepatitis C and other diseases to which intravenous drug users are susceptible. ACT UP has for decades organized and advocated for the HIV/AIDs community in both Philadelphia and internationally.
