Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia will be opening their seventh location at Bethel Temple Community Church at Ella and Allegheny in Kensington. CLCP’s mission is to provide legal and spiritual services to low-income clients. Clients can receive a free one-hour consultation with one of the licensed attorneys that volunteer at CLCP. Spiritual advice may be offered alongside legal advice. Volunteers can also refer clients to qualified counsel through a network of attorneys who take on pro bono or reduced-fee cases. The first monthly clinic will be held on Saturday, July 18. There will also be a special expungement clinic on Saturday, July 27.
