Fishtown Watering Hole Johnny Brenda’s Ranks Fourth In City For Bar Violations

Johnny Brenda’s, a popular Fishtown bar and one of the longest-running music venues in Philly, also has a record for being a leader in alcohol-related violations, according to information provided by the State Police’s Liquor Control Enforcement Division to Billypenn.com.
According to the blog the restaurant and music venue ranks fourth in violations for various offenses over the past three years. Some of those offenses include:
- Loud Speaker Violation.
- Sale to a minor.
- Failing to maintain cleaning records for beverage dispensing system.
- Failing to post “no smoking” signs.
- Failed to properly post health license.
The post also states that there were no penalties issued to the establishment for the listed offenses.
JB’s wasn’t the only Riverwards bar mentioned on the list: Halftimes Good Times in Kensington came in ranked seventh.
