Idiot Who Tried to Force Luck By Robbing WaWa Lotto Tickets Won’t Get $$$ Even If He Wins
On Monday, May 6th a man decked out in his finest basketball shorts, Nikes and sleeve tattoos walked in to a Port Richmond WaWa, rammed his arm up a PA Lottery machine, and walked away with $300 worth of utterly useless lottery tickets.
The odds are already stacked against the perpetrator should he happen to “luck out.” According to Linda at the Pennsylvania Lottery office, stealing a winning a lottery ticket isn’t very easy to get away with:
All the tickets are tracked back to particular stores, so if he has a winning ticket, we will know he stole it.
The lottery is drawn every Tuesday and Friday and the pot is currently up to a fat $190 million, but also according to the PA Lottery website:
The primary purpose of creating the Lottery was, and remains, to generate funds for programs that benefit older Pennsylvanians.
So not only did white male, seemingly in his early 20s, steal useless lottery tickets and risk going to prison for it, he also stole from the elderly.
Whatta jerk…
Below is video of the incident and if you happen to know this scrappy young lad, call Detective Johnson (badge #639) at Philadelphia Police Department East Detective Division at 215-686-3243/324
