New Live Nation Music Venue in Fishtown to Announce First Batch of Shows June 2nd

The new Live Nation music venue is set to open and start kicking out jams sometime this fall, but they just announced they will release their first batch of performances on Tuesday June 2nd. The new music venue, which has the capacity to hold a total of almost 3,000 people, is located at 1000 Frankford Ave, just around the corner from the beloved Johnny Brenda’s and across the street from dance hot spot The Barbary. The venue is being constructed in the 125 year-old former Ajax factory.

According to the venue’s website, there will be a main performance area for larger touring acts that has the capacity to hold 2500 people. There will also be an area called The Foundry which, according to the site, will feature local bands and has the capacity to hold 450 people.

There will also be a “VIP and service lounge,” and there is currently a contest to win tickets to the opening night.
