It’s hard to believe that Philadelphia Record Exchange has been supplying Fishtown with records, CDs and tapes for 30 years now. They’re celebrating the occasion with a huge block party on September 19 and the Riverwards are invited!
The party starts outside their store at 1524 Frankford Ave. at noon. Record Exchange and Friends will be DJing for the first hour, after which live bands take over. From 1 to 7 PM a number of bands will be putting on a show outside Philadelphia Record Show. At 8 the show moves inside and the music and fun keeps going.
The event is BYOB. For more information check out the celebration’s Facebook page.
