A man was shot during an altercation at the Last Shot bar in Port Richmond early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred on the 2700 block of East Allegheny Avenue. Investigators say a fight broke out between a 41-year-old man and a 23-year-old man. The fight spilled outside and the 23 year old pulled a gun out and opened fire.

The victim was hit several times before running back inside the bar. The shooter fired a few shots at the bar after the victim escaped, but no one else was hit. The shooter initially fled the scene, but patrons caught his license plate and relayed it to police. He was taken into custody shortly afterwards. The victim remains in critical condition at Temple Hospital.
