The Fishtown Area Business Association (FABA) has a Papal Q&A and a Night Market info session scheduled for next week.

The Papal Q&A session will take place on Monday, August 31 at Saint Benjamin’s Brewing Co. at 1710 N. 5th St. The meeting will feature SEPTA Police Chief Nestel, 26th District Captain Kappe, the office of Council President Darrell Clarke, the office of Councilman Mark Squilla, and the Papal Weekend Business Resource Center. The session will feature information about preparing your business to take advantage of increased foot traffic, opportunities to participate in special neighborhood promotions, and a Q&A session with the speakers. The Night Market info session will be held on Tuesday, September 1, at First Presbyterian Church at 418 E. Girard Ave. The session is intended for those preparing for the Night Market on October 1. Attendants will have a chance to meet the Night Market event coordinators, find out how you can participate in Night Market, learn about permitting requirements, and ask questions about event logistics.
