The 26th District was able to identify and arrest Hector Torres in connection with the robbery of a Quick Stop on 2518 Frankford Ave. in Kensington on July 22. Torres pointed a hand wrapped in a white t-shirt, simulating a weapon, at an employee and demanded money from the register. A 26th District officer viewed surveillance tape of the suspect and was able to identify him as Torres.  Investigation showed that he worked at the store for a brief time. Torres is being charged with Robbery, PIC, terroristic threats, theft unlawful taking, and simple assault.
