It’s hard to believe that it’s already August. You know what the means: The 2nd Street Festival is almost here!

The day-long, free gala event is a Northern Liberties summer block party that takes place on the first Sunday of every August. NoLibs shuts down along North 2nd Street, between Germantown and Green Streets, and fills the area with workshops, art, food, beer gardens and craft vendors.

There will also be 19 bands performing live music on three stages all day, including Dogs on Acid, Northern Arms and The Extraordinaires.

The festival will be in full swing from noon until 10 p.m., so come on out and enjoy the party. We’ll be there!
