We’ve been the beneficiaries of some really nice weather last week! Day after day of picture perfect Spring weather. This week, unfortunately, we usher in another weather regime. Now, we will sneak in a few nice days, but it will be much more wet. We have chances for rain on 4 days. The wettest period looks to be from Sunday evening to Monday morning.
At one point it looked as though we would start getting 90 degree warmth at the start of May. Now it looks like we will be cooler and wetter than normal for the next two weeks. The 90 degree warmth may have to wait until we get to around Memorial day. Either way, we are entering May this week and that means get ready for 80s to start popping up in the forecast in the coming weeks!
Wednesday will be a nice day with plenty of sunshine. It will be very comfortable during the day. This will be one of the nicest dry days of the week.
Thursday and Friday are both cool as temperatures struggle to get out of the 50s and chances of showers hang around for both days. The sun will try to peek through at times, and probably will, but clouds will be around most of the time.
Saturday is a transition day. It will be warm and sunny with some clouds around.. This is the best day of the weekend for sure!
Sunday and Monday feature rain from a large storm that will be crossing the country. Rain will begin Sunday morning and last until Monday afternoon and possibly evening. It won’t be raining the whole time but drizzle with bouts of heavier rain will be the common theme.
On Tuesday we finally get the sun back and temperatures will be comfortably in the 60s.
The weather number of the week is “60”; temperatures this week will spend much of the time in the 60s!
The weather winner of the week is Wednesday; the weather loser is Sunday!
