The former owners of bar Emmanuelle and PYT Burgers are teaming up for a charity event at the Fillmore on Nov. 19th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Luksusowa Vodka’s No-Shave November celebration will feature creative cocktails from the minds of Christian Gaal and Phoebe Esmon. Tommy Up of PYT Burgers will offer his famed food—and it’s all for a good cause.

First things first: the food and drinks are offered up for free. Don’t forget PYT Burger was recently featured on Lonely Planet’s Best Burger list.

In celebration of No-Shave November, Gaal and Esmon will serve the bewhiskered crowd new cocktails inspired by iconic Philadelphia poet Walt Whitman and his signature beard. The bartenders have devised a cocktail menu to salute some of the poet’s more notable works. Check out the teasers below.

How does it work? Simple. The longer the beard, the more money raised.

Whitman’s famous beard draws attention to the cause Luksusowa Vodka celebrates by donating a dollar for every inch of beard in attendance at its No-Shave November event. Luksusowa will donate a portion of their November sales to the Testicular Cancer Foundation.

“The Journey-work of the Stars”

1.5 oz Luksusowa Vodka

1.5 oz fresh pink grapefruit juice

.75 oz walnut-blackberry syrup

1 dash Angostura bitters

Shake/strain and serve in a collins glass; top with club soda

Garnish: star anise pod

 

 

“The Vitreous Pour”

2 oz Luksusowa Vodka

.75 oz Lillet Blanc

.25 oz Kirschwasser

2 dashes orange bitters

Stir/strain and serve in a cocktail glass

Garnish: brandied cherry

 

 

“Barbaric Yawp”

2 oz Luksusowa Vodka

.75 oz cedar tip honey

.75 oz fresh lemon juice

honeysuckle tea

Shake/strain and serve in a double rocks glass
