BlueCadet is Opening Their Doors to the Neighborhood

BlueCadet is one of those hard-to-define agencies. They do everything that is necessary for businesses to succeed in today’s climate: create websites, mobile apps, films and interactive installations. With clients such as the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of the American Revolution it’s pretty evident the new company is doing well.

Bluecadet is inviting residents of the Riverwards and other surrounding neighborhoods to an open house at their 8,400-square-foot headquarters on Wednesday, October 14 from 6PM – 8PM. The agency plans to unveil some upcoming projects they are working on for the above mentioned clients.

This is part of DesignPhiladelphia‘s nine-day event that brings together universities, cultural institutions, city agencies, retailers, manufacturers and startups. According to their website, this year’s theme is SHIFT, referring to the rapid change happening throughout our city and the power to SHIFT goals and mentalities.

Josh Goldblum, Bluecadet’s CEO, spoke to The Spirit in an article published in June of last year about the burgeoning tech scene in Philadelphia.

Just show up and be part of it. Some of it is just bringing the right energy that will just keep this thing going and build momentum. And I think people want to be out there socializing and sharing and I think the more energy you can bring to that and the more positive energy you can bring to that, the more it will thrive.

BlueCadet’s office is located on 1526 Frankford Ave — stop by and check out what this forward-thinking company is up to.
