NEW FISHTOWN PSPCA’S UPCOMING EVENTS INCLUDE PHOTOS WITH SANTA AND “PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT”
On Saturday, December 19, 2015, the Pennsylvania’s SPCA’s Fishtown Center (1546 Frankford Avenue) will be holding a photo session with Santa from 12 to 4 PM. Pets and kids are welcome to have their photos taken for a suggested $5 donation.
“Santa Paws is coming to town; Fishtown that is,” Gillian Kocher, director of public relations and marketing for the PSPCA, said in a press release.
The PSPCA will also be holding an animal-themed “Parents’ Night Out” that same Saturday from 6-9:30 PM.
Kids, from the ages of six to twelve, will be provided with pizza and can participate in several activities, like games and meeting a pet from a shelter, giving parents a chance to get some last-minute shopping done.
The cost to register a child for the event is $30 and $15 for any additional children from the same household. To register your child, click here.
If you or your family can not attend either event but would still like to give to the cause, donations to PSPCA can be made here.
