Police Looking for Multiple Suspects in Kensington Shooting
Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect who fired a gun in the middle of the day on Monday, September 21.
Around 2:15 PM, police officers responded to reports of gunfire on the 1800 block of East Orleans Street. When officers arrived on the scene they found a red GMC Terrain had been struck by two bullets. The vehicle had been parked and onoccupied when the incident occurred.
Upon reviewing surveillance footage, they found that a black woman handed a black man the handgun. After receiving the weapon, the man chased the victim, a 30-year-old man, while firing shots at him. After shooting, the man handed the gun off to another black man, who fled the location in a black sedan.
Suspect #1 is described as a black woman, heavyset, wearing a red dress with white stripes.
Suspect #2 is described as a black man, dark complected, wearing a white tank top and dark-colored pants
Suspect #3 is described as a black man, dark complected, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
