Two Kensington Shootings Leave Man and Woman Hospitalized.

A violent weekend in Kensington resulted in two gunshot wound victims being hospitalized at local area hospitals.

A 32-year-old-man was sitting in his car on Albert Street, not far from Kensington Avenue, around 11:20PM when two bullets struck him in the head. An article on Philly.com says that he transported himself to St. Christopher’s Hospital. The victim was transferred to Temple University Hospital early Sunday morning and is in critical, yet stable condition.

A woman  was shot in the upper left leg on the 2300 block of North Leithgow Street around the same time as the Albert Street incident. She drove herself to Temple University Hospital where she was listed in stable condition. Investigating officers do not have any evidence linking the two shootings. There is no suspect or motive listed for either. For more information click here.
