There will be a meeting to discuss zoning remapping tomorrow at the Crane Arts Building starting at 6:30 PM. From PlanPhilly:

Following the City’s adoption of the Planning Commission’s Lower North District Plan [a part of the comprehensive city-wide Philadelphia 2035 planning process] in 2014, the next step will be to revisit the zoning classifications throughout the neighborhood to match the land uses recommended by the plan.

South Kensington Community Partners will host the first of two public meetings to review the draft zoning remapping for the Lower North District onTuesday, June 30th at 6:30 PM at the Crane Arts Building, 1400 N American St. As this zoning remapping will shape the future of development in our neighborhood, it’s critical that the community be given the opportunity to weigh in on what specific zoning the Planning Commission proposes and how that will affect the neighborhood. We hope you will join us on June 30th.
