Philasoup will be holding their annual kick-off party at Keystone Mini Golf on Sunday, August 23. The event will take place from 5:30-7:30 pm and will cost $20 to attend. This ticket price includes a round of golf and beers from Philadelphia Brewing Company. Keystone Mini Golf is an 18-hole indoor/outdoor miniature golf course located at 161 Cecil B. Moore Ave. in Kensington.

PhilaSoup is a volunteer-run nonprofit that tries to bring the Philadelphia community together to support teachers. Each year, they host a series of micro-grant dinners where teachers present innovative ideas to improve education in their classroom. Most teachers pay out of pocket for a significant portion of their school supplies, especially in Philadelphia, so every bit of support helps. So far they have raised over $15,000 for Philadelphia classrooms and teachers.
