On Sunday, December 11th, PlayArts (1241 N Front St.) hosted its 2016 Holiday Bazaar — an afternoon of supporting local business, artists and craftspeople. The bazaar featured supervised babysitting while parents had a chance to take care of their holiday shopping in one stop. Vendors featured at the event included: Mason Dixon, Minnow Lane, Baby Jives, Buddha Babe, Infinnity Kids, Shock Brick, Inc., Philly Kids Clothing, Adrienne Justice, Rider Ceramics, 4&7, Hemlock+Key, Printfresh, Penrose Design Studio, Joshua Moonshine and more.

   PlayArts is a full-service hub for the parenting community, offering child-centered arts and play in a parent-friendly space. Their 4500 square foot facility in Fishtown features something for every age: a separate play area for infants, a developmentally appropriate playspace for toddlers and young children, designated rooms for group classes and private music lessons, and mezzanine seating for parents as they enjoy wifi and coffee.
