Police Looking for Suspect who Robbed Subway with Handgun
Police are asking for help in identifying a male suspect for a gunpoint robbery. The man robbed the Subway store at 529 Spring Garden St. around 9:50 PM on Tuesday, September 1.
The suspect pulled out a handgun and walked behind the counter to the cash register. An employee appeared from the back and the suspect had them open the register. He grabbed around $300 and fled the scene.
This is the second time this location has been robbed in two months.
The suspect is described as a black male, dark complexion, between 5’10” and 6′ with a medium build. He was wearing a black shirt and black jeans with a red shirt or scarf wrapped around his face.
