CADEkids Sponsoring Phillies Raffle Fundraiser

From now until March 30, CADEkids, a local youth development organization, will run a raffle to raise funds for more than two dozen local schools, including Adaire Elementary in Fishtown and Horatio B. Hackett in Olde Richmond. The winner will receive a 13-game Sunday season ticket plan for the Philadelphia Phillies’ upcoming season.

“The Phillies have been a long-standing CADEkids supporter and have helped raise money through partial season ticket plans,” said CADEkids Public Relations Manager Brian Walker.

For 30 years, CADEkids has striven to guide and protect Philadelphia’s youth by implementing numerous programs in local schools that encourage the pursuit of higher education and address the dangers of negative behaviors such as violence, bullying and drug use. Since its inception, CADEkids has positively impacted the lives of more than 400,000 children.

“Year after year, our prevention specialists motivate students to make positive decisions, overcome adversity and work toward a brighter future,” Walker said. “We’re proud to say that many of these students are following their dreams for higher education – by attending local universities, including Temple and Penn – or developing business and trade skills.”

Only 200 people will be able to participate in the raffle. The drawing will be held on Friday, March 31 at noon. CADEkids will notify the winner via phone and email. To purchase a raffle ticket, make a donation or see the complete list of game dates, visit CADEkids’ website.
