Accu-Reggie 7 Day Forecast (November 16-November 22)

Last week was different because we really got our first week of true autumnal weather. There was no surge of warmth to the 70s, it was almost completely cool. This week starts off mild before the bottom drops out for the latter half of the seven day period. It’s going to feel like winter! We are going to hang around the 60s before dropping to the 30s and lower 40s. Yea, it’s about to get real! It’s conceivable on Monday that we could see some flurries in the area especially north and west of Philly.

We continue the dry pattern as no major storms drop significant rain on the area. We are running much drier than normal for the month and that will continue. We should get a barrage of storms moving through as we get close to December, however. The pattern is showing signs of getting more active and volatile. Buckle up, it’s going to get interesting soon.

Accu-Reggie nov16-02

The rainy weather on Tuesday clears out for Wednesday. Sunshine returns for an overall nice day.

Thursday is the first day of a warming trend heading into the weekend. We will start climbing through the lower 60s.

Friday is a warm day that will almost feel Spring-like. This is the best day of the week since it will be warm AND dry.

Saturday will also be warm like Friday as temperatures in some places will try to get near 70 degrees before evening rain arrives after 3PM from west to east. Timing this front is tricky, but either way don’t expect a lot of rain.  Overnight Saturday in the Poconos will be wild as temperatures plummet and rain changes to snow. Yep, the “S” word is back!

Sunday is a real slap in the face as temperatures plummet behind the front. It’s going to be windy and cold with temperatures in the 40s.

Monday and Tuesday are very similar as we stay cold for the start of the new work week. We could see some flurries on Monday to boot!

The weather winner of the week is Friday; the weather loser is Monday.
